HOW TO GET A B DRIVING LICENCE

Get your driving licence in Stockholm with our driving licence training

Do you want to get your driving licence in Stockholm or Norrtälje? Then you are very welcome to contact us at Jarla Trafikskola. With many years of experience, we offer you a safe and smooth driving licence training for B licence, where you will learn everything you need to succeed!

Booking request

1. Driving licence: apply for a driving licence from the Swedish Transport Agency and attach a certificate of inspection. We will of course help you fill in the forms.

2. Enrolment: register with us and choose which driving school you want to train at. We offer training for driving licence B at all our schools around Stockholm and in Norrtälje!

3. Starting lesson: The first step in the education process is a starting lesson. This is done to see which of the training options is best for you. After the initial lesson, we develop an individual plan.

4. Theory: our students like to study theory in parallel with the practice driving. This makes it easier because practical training goes hand in hand with theoretical training. The theory part consists of study material that students receive via our digital training platform Elevcentralen Premium. For those with reading difficulties we offer extra theory support.

5. driving lessons: All our driving school teachers have extensive experience and are committed to giving our students the best possible education. Of course, we take into account any prior knowledge.

6. Risk training: Risk 1 and the Risk 2 eudcations are done in parallel with the driving lessons and we book them for you. The risk series covers risks in traffic, such as fatigue, alcohol and drugs. Risk 2is what most people recognise as the skidpan.

7. Training check: when you start at Jarla Trafikskola, we book a training check that is carried out before you take the theory test and drive.

8. The theory test: the next to last step is theory test. It is designed to show that you have what it takes to be a safe and environmentally aware driver.

9. Driving test: last but not least it's time for the run-up (the driving test). Remember to come well prepared and rested for the final phase of your training!

Last step: the driving test

The journey to a driving licence begins with a starter lesson

Before you start your driving licence training with us at Jarla Trafikskola, we always make sure to book a starting lesson with one of our teachers. During the lesson, they can see what level you are at in your driving, and thanks to this, they can plan the best possible approach for you. Our aim is always to provide the most effective training possible - we will of course take into account any prior knowledge.

  • Start with a starter lesson
  • Find out what level you are at
  • Get your driving licence effectively

At Jarla Trafikskola, our overall goal is to train safe drivers. Since 1975, together with our experienced teachers, we have guided thousands of driving school students towards the goal of succeeding in their B driving licence! We have been able to achieve this by providing our students with a solid driving licence education tailored to their needs, abilities and goals. Over the years we have learned how to help our students in the best possible way - To give you an insight into the approach, we have summarised general information about all the training and tests driving licence moment.

  • We have been educating students since 1975
  • We have educated thousands of students
Awareness of the difficult

Getting a driving licence is not just about learning how to handle and drive a vehicle, or how to interpret all the different road signs and signals. At least as important is an understanding of the nuisances of traffic, such as alcohol and drugs. One of the steps involved in achieving the zero vision in your driving licence training is the Risk Eight, and later the Risk Two. This applies to the B licence as well as to the other licences.

  • Learn to drive a vehicle
  • Learn to interpret road signs
  • Get a better understanding of traffic
The old "skidpan"

We used to say the slippery slope, now we say risk assessment. Understanding how a car behaves on slippery surfaces and experiencing what actually happens in an accident is important for a full understanding of the traffic situation. This is what you will get to try out when you carry out the risk assessment, to give you a more realistic idea of what can go wrong and how you can act.

See how the expert does it

A good way to learn something is to study how another person does it. That's why we've created a film for you, in which one of our driving instructors shows the different driving licence moments involved in security check for a passenger car step by step. This is so that you, as a student, will be able to absorb all the different elements in the best possible way, and then learn them in theory as well as in practice. We are very committed to your success!

  • Go through the steps step by step
  • Learn in both theory and practice

Knowledge test for B driving licence

The last but one step in the driving licence training, before you have your licence in your hand, is theory test. Those taking a driving licence for a passenger car take the theory test directly after the driving test. The knowledge test consists of 70 questions with different focuses, the aim of which is to check safety awareness and environmental awareness.

Last step: the driving test

By far the last, and most fun, step in your driving licence training is the Driving Test! Together with our students, we prepare for this final step, also known as the driving test, throughout their B licence training. The driving test consists of road driving, city driving, traffic rules and environmental awareness. Once you've passed, you'll have your licence in hand - then you're ready to tackle the roads like a real driver on your own!
