HOW TO GET A MOPED LICENCE

Choose a school & book now! Contact us1. Information: at the first lesson we check the student's ID. Then our traffic teachers will explain the course structure and important things to consider. We would like the guardian to be present at the beginning.
2. The moped: we look at the rules around the driver's licence and the AM licence. Then we discuss how the moped is designed and how it works, important for you to be able to drive and operate a moped properly. We look at driving with passengers and what applies to driving with a load. In addition, we go through the obligations of a moped owner.
3. People and the environment: here we discuss how we function as drivers in traffic and how we can make driving safer for ourselves and other road users. We also look at how traffic affects the environment and how we can reduce its negative impact.
4. Traffic theory part I: This lesson is about the basic rules of the road and how important it is to pay attention to other traffic when driving a moped.
5. Traffic theory part II: Driving in traffic is quite difficult and makes a lot of demands on you as a driver. A good knowledge of what you can and can't do is necessary for your driving to work. In this theory lesson, you will learn what you need to know to be able to drive a moped in busier environments.
6. Manoeuvring: this lesson takes place in our own driving yard and lasts one to two hours. In previous theory lessons you have gained theoretical knowledge about the design and operation of the moped - now it will be put into practice. A certified instructor will show you how to do the exercises and give you tips and advice.You will both get an idea of your ability to handle the moped. This is a high priority to contribute to safety during the lessons.
7. Traffic practice: in this lesson you will practice driving with a traffic teacher in areas with relatively little traffic. You will practise the basic rules of the road, how to deal with obstructed crossings and other risky situations.Then you will drive in busier urban environments. The moped is an excellent urban vehicle, but as a moped rider you are very unprotected and also quite poorly visible. It is therefore of the utmost importance that you can manoeuvre the moped correctly and read the traffic.
8. Driving licence questions : on the first day of the course you will receive a login to the Student Central Premium where you can access the driving licence questions. They are designed to prepare you for the theory test, which can only be written once the driving school has approved the entire course.The driving licence questions consist of practice questions, sub-tests and revision.
9. The theory test: once you have completed all the parts of the course, it is time for the knowledge test. It is carried out at the Swedish Transport Administration. It is time for the test when you have finished your practice questions and your practical training has been approved by the traffic instructor.The time is booked either by us at Jarla Traffic School or by yourself. The test consists of 70 cross questions where one answer option is correct. To pass, you must get at least 52 correct. If you do not pass, you will be asked to make a new appointment for a retest immediately.
