DRIVING LICENCE FOR MEDIUM-SIZED MOTORCYCLE
Want to glide around the streets of Stockholm on a mid-size motorcycle? Then an A2 driving licence is required! AUTHORITY
If you want to drive a medium-sized motorcycle, you need an A2 driving licence (formerly "driving licence A with restriction"). The motorcycles go a bit faster and are a bit heavier than what is allowed for A1. To get an A2 licence, you must be 18 years old or older, but you can start practising driving when you are 17 years and 6 months old. To get your licence, you need to complete the risk training, pass a knowledge test and driving test at the Finnish Transport Agency.
A medium-sized motorcycle is defined by the power of the engine. The maximum power is 35kW (about 48 hp) and the ratio of net power to kerb weight must not exceed 0.2 kW/kg.

In order to practice driving privately during your A2 training, you must have an approved supervisor. Both you and your supervisor must have completed an introductory training course in order to obtain a valid driving licence. When practising for your A2 licence, your tutor must either be a passenger on the back or drive your own motorcycle.

Our intensive course is for those who can handle a motorcycle.
The intensive course includes the following training elements:

Monday: 07.00-12.30
Initial traffic, as well as high speed braking and a safety check
DAY 2-4
Tuesday-Thursday: 09.30-12.30
Driving in traffic
Day 5
Friday: 08:20 or 09:30
Road trip, fixed distance, 11 miles lasting about 3 hours.
UBK - training check. This training is only booked when the trainer
