Rebooking and cancellation without charge is only accepted according to the current cancellation policy and only by personal contact: by phone, at the reception desk or to your teacher. Neither voicemail nor email will be accepted due to the dispute that may arise if we are unable to reference who received your cancellation information.

Courses

Courses must be paid for at the time of booking.
Disease
Illness must always be verified with a medical certificate or equivalent in order to receive credit for the lesson/course in case of late cancellation. We reserve the right to verify certificates not issued by doctors/health care facilities.
Payment
The school applies prepayment. This means that you pay on the spot at the reception or via e-commerce before the lesson, either by the piece or by buying one of our discounted packages. Discounts cannot be deducted retrospectively. Unpaid lessons will be invoiced with a 10-day payment period. A payment service fee is charged at the time of invoicing, with individual exceptions. Invoicing is handled in cooperation with Billecta AB, which has the legal power to collect our payment claims. In connection with invoicing, we or Billecta AB may request a credit check on you. All purchases/payments/gift cards according to the regular price list are valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Exceptions apply to special offers.
Exhalation test
In accordance with STR's requirements, we apply exhalation tests before lessons. Should your breath test be failed, you will not be allowed to run your booked lesson, but will have to pay for the booked time.

Knowledge test & Driving test - MC
We are responsible for making an appointment for a driving test with the Swedish Transport Administration. When you pass the knowledge test, you notify the school so that we can book a driving test in your name. The test time is provisional until you take your training test, when we determine the actual test date, time and place. The time may therefore be brought forward or postponed depending on the training test.
Knowledge test & Driving test - Car
We are responsible for making an appointment for the driving test at the Swedish Transport Administration. Please note that the time allocated to you for the knowledge/driving test is only provisional until you take your training test. If you do not pass the school driving test at least 1 week before the booked knowledge test time, the time for the test will be moved forward, which means that the driving test may also be changed as the knowledge and driving tests are booked as a single driving test.
Theory
It is very important that you keep up with the theory throughout your training period. You study theory in the driving licence book and work in parallel with the driving licence questions you have purchased from us via the student centre. All theory elements, as well as at least 5 passed final tests must be passed at least 2 weeks before the booked date for the theory test. Should this not be done in time, we have the right to cancel or postpone to a later date.
Refund
Refunds of outstanding balances are free of charge provided you have taken your driving licence with us. In the event of cancellation of training, we retain 10% of the outstanding balance in accordance with STR's practice. Refund of unused product or course does not apply if the product or course is part of a package. That is to say, if you have already purchased the product or completed the course with us or another trainer on a previous occasion. If a premium is included in one of our lesson packages, we will deduct the value of the premium before refunding. This only applies to those who have already received or collected the premium. If the value of the remaining balance is less than the value of the premium, nothing will be refunded.
If you wish to cancel a purchase, the amount will be refunded in full, provided you contact us and any bookings are cancelled in accordance with the other terms and conditions. Consumables such as theory materials and driving licence questions are non-refundable. - Refunds are made free of charge via bank and can take up to 30 days.
Right of withdrawal e-commerce
As a consumer (private individual), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you receive an item we have sent you. The right of withdrawal is regulated in the Distance and Home Sales Act (2005:59). According to Article 4 of this Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to distance contracts if, among other things:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to companies, and only if the goods are in substantially unaltered condition. This means that the product can be sold as new to the next customer, without the latter reacting to the product's used appearance. You are responsible for the return freight if you invoke the right of withdrawal. To avoid problems when you want to exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact customer service before returning goods.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods purchased at our schools, but only to e-commerce.
When invoking the right of withdrawal:
We reserve the right to charge the cost price for the missing parts in case the return is not complete. We do not redeem parcels for cash on delivery. Uncollected shipments are not considered as an exercise of the right of withdrawal.
Minor
For underage students, parental consent is required before they can purchase services from us.
Part payment
Instalment facility is available through interest-free financing from Wasa Kredit. You decide how much you want to pay per month by choosing the repayment period. You can choose to split your payment into 3, 6, 12 or 24 months without interest. The first instalment is notified the month after your purchase. We can also offer you a longer instalment plan (60 months). Each month you have the option of paying a higher amount than the amount notified, thus shortening the repayment period.

Derogations/exceptions
We reserve the right to apply different conditions in connection with promotions, price adjustments and other changes to our terms and conditions regarding payments and redemptions.
Contractual changes
Contract changes are notified by requiring you to accept our terms again, even though you have done so previously.
If you receive a new request to accept our terms and conditions, we recommend that you read them before you accept them again, so that you know what changes have been made.
§ FORCE MAJEURE
Jarla Trafikskola AB is released from its contractual obligations when external or extreme factors, obstacles that are beyond our control and that we could not have counted on or foreseen, affect our ability to carry out our obligations without reimbursement or compensation claims from the customer.
We are affiliated to STR (www.str.se) and are environmentally certified according to FR 2000.
