We take great care to protect and respect your privacy. Therefore, we want to inform you about how we use and protect your personal information and make you aware of your rights as a customer regarding your personal information.
Your personal information - what is it?
Your personal information refers to the information that can be used to identify you as an individual. The processing of personal data is regulated by (under) the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR.
How do we process your personal information?
At Jarla Traffic School, we are constantly working to comply with the GDPR by; keeping your personal data up to date, not retaining more personal data about you than necessary, protecting your personal data against loss, unauthorised access and misuse.
What categories of personal information does Jarla collect?
We collect organisation/personal number, address, name, telephone number and e-mail address.
Why does Jarla need to collect and store your personal data?
In order for us to provide you with our services, we need to collect your personal data so that we can write contracts, send invoices, provide support and deliver the services we create. The information we use and store is only that which is necessary for this purpose.
What is Jarla's legal basis for processing your personal data?
We at jarlatrafikskola.se may process your personal data in order to fulfil your contract, where you have given us permission to do so and/or to comply with local and EU laws.
Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be treated confidentially and will only be shared with third parties if you have given us permission to do so, or for legal reasons. These third parties with whom we share your data are obliged and bound by the same laws and regulations as jarlatrafikskola. This is to keep your information secure and to only use that information to fulfill the service they are providing through us. When they no longer need your data to fulfill the service, they will send the data in accordance with jarlatrafikskola.se security procedures.
At Jarla, we never sell your personal data to third parties.
Aggregated or anonymous data with personal information deleted
We at Jarla may from time to time provide third parties with data that has been aggregated and/or anonymised. This means that your personal information that can be used to identify you has been removed from the data (e.g. but not limited to: social security number, email, phone).
How long do we keep your personal data?
We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for a period of at least 5 years to comply with Swedish regulations (SFSA).
Via the SIZ.SE system, you can unsubscribe and no admin will be able to see or send to the address that is unsubscribed. The system has a NIX register which cannot be accessed but only saves emails to protect you from receiving any mailings.
Your personal data rights
Unless you are covered by an exemption under the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
"The right to request Jarla to correct personal data if it proves to be inaccurate or outdated;
"The right to request that your personal data be deleted where it is no longer necessary for Jarla (subject to terms, banking laws and practices, your data is archived and all identifiable information is deleted);
"The right to request that Jarla provide you with a copy of your personal data where possible, for the purpose of sending that data directly to another data controller;
"The right, where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your personal data, to request that a restriction be placed on further processing;
"The right to withdraw consent, if we do not have legal grounds for processing your personal data;
"The right to lodge a complaint with the Data Inspectorate.
Further processing
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Privacy Notice, we will notify you again. That notice will explain this new use before processing begins. The relevant purposes and processing conditions will also be indicated. We will ask for your consent before the new processing.
Complaints
If you have any concerns about how your personal data is processed by Jarla or how your expressed concerns have been handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with Jarla's Data Protection Officer at abuse@jarlatrafikskola.se or with the Data Inspectorate.
